Private beta: terms & data handling
shoofi (operated by AuroraIQ Cloud Solutions) is in private beta. We want you to get real value from it, and to be straight with you about what that means today. Please read this before you send us anything you care about.
Best-effort service, no SLA
During the beta the platform may be restarted, upgraded, rate-limited, or briefly unavailable without notice. There is no uptime guarantee. It's good enough to get genuine value from, not yet something to page your on-call against as the only signal.
Durability: keep your own copy
Your telemetry currently lives in a single region on storage that is not yet backed up off-site. We are adding off-host backups, but until then treat shoofi as a secondary copy of your data.
Do not make shoofi the only home for data you cannot afford to lose.
Data handling & privacy
- Data is stored and processed in a single region (EU).
- Please avoid sending sensitive personal data (PII) in metrics or logs. You are responsible for the content you ship and for any consent/legal basis it requires.
- Each tenant is logically isolated, so you cannot see another tenant's data, and they cannot see yours.
- Deletion on request: email us and we'll delete your tenant's data. Suspending or closing your account revokes ingest immediately.
- We access your data only to operate, support, and secure the service.
Things may change
Limits, retention, features, and (eventually) pricing will change as the product matures. We'll give notice where practical. Continuing to use the beta means you accept the current terms on this page.
